Essential Movements
At this session we will demonstrate the key movements all babies should be experiencing before crawling and combine key sensory experiences and inputs.
The session will also include some basic developmental movement checks and look at ways to keep your baby's movement development on track - helping you to making sure your baby is getting the range of inputs and experiences needed to ensure they develop good posture, balance and coordination.
This will be done using fun activities and games in a relaxing setting for both you and your baby. We have put a lot of effort into making our space as welcoming as possible and we also keep classes small so you can ask questions and get individual queries answered. Our sessions are designed to be fun, sociable and interactive- including refreshments and time to chat.
This is one of our specialist sessions, as during the summer term and holiday period we are holding single sessions rather than the usual 4 week programme.
We will still focus on essential movements and key sensory inputs covered in the 4 week programme but they will be more focused on a particular topic or issue - so hopefully you can catch the one that most suits your needs over the busy summer season.
In summary we:
- Stimulate and integrate sensorimotor systems
- Support visual and auditory development
- Aid healthy digestion and sleep
- Help with tummy time
- Allow time for individual questions.
