Sensational Sleep

  • We run one-off specialist sessions to help babies to sleep well. Babies can take up to six months to develop a good sleep pattern, but don't despair as we can demonstrate sensory and movement activities that are designed to help establish sleep patterns from early on.

You'll find out how the sensory systems and sleep are closely linked, and be shown various activities you can do with your baby to support the development of the underlying brain and body systems that support sleep and self regulation.

This session will be particularly helpful if your baby:

    • has trouble falling asleep
    • keeps waking up
    • needs holding to fall asleep
    • sleeps excessively (not very alert)
    • dislikes laying on their back
    • sleeps for very short periods
    • is easily disturbed by noise or light
